In the critical moments following an active shooter incident or workplace accident, rapid response to traumatic bleeding can mean the difference between life and death. Blue Light Consultants (BLC) offers specialized ‘Stop the Bleed’ training programs designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively respond to these emergencies.
Our certified instructors provide a comprehensive presentation that covers the identification of different types of bleeding and the immediate steps that should be taken to control it. Participants engage in hands-on practice, learning how to apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and correctly use a tourniquet to prevent excessive blood loss.

It is a proven fact that when an active shooter incident happens or a workplace accident, loss of blood is the number one cause of death. A person who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in 5 minutes or less.
At Blue Light Consultants we strive to help prevent that by training our customers in being able to recognize what type of bleed the victim is experiencing and to Stop the Bleed. Blue Light Consultants instructors will give a comprehensive presentation followed by hands-on practice of applying direct pressure, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet to stop bleeding.
